MEMBER BENEFITS
Membership, which must be renewed each September to remain an active member of the LPPTA, provides access to several benefits, including member services, member discounts and a variety of year-round social, educational and charitable activities and events.
MEMBER SERVICES
Annual Booklet
In September members receive the current edition of the LPPTA’s annual booklet, which is a comprehensive guide to Lexington ’s preschools, child care facilities, and summer camps. The booklet also provides valuable information about services and facilities offered by the Town and a listing of resources and kid-friendly venues in and around Lexington .
Newsletter
The newsletter is sent to the membership ten times per year (September to June) by mail and email. The newsletter provides a monthly calendar of events, including social/recreational, educational and charitable activities. In addition, when you join the LPPTA you are automatically signed up for our member-only email distribution list, which we use to send the newsletter to our membership monthly.
Yahoo! Group Email Listserve
The LPPTA has a Yahoo! Groups email list which is a free, easy-to-use email group service which you are welcome to join at any time. As a member of this email loop, you may send messages to the entire group using just one email address: lppta@yahoogroups.com. We offer this service so that LPPTA members can easily communicate with one another. Feel free to use the list to foster discussion, request information, or provide information. You can initiate a conversation or reply to one. If you would like to be a part of this new discussion forum, you will need to opt-in to the list by sending an email to lppta-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You will receive a confirmation email from Yahoo! Groups. Simply follow the instructions and you will be subscribed. You may opt-out of the Yahoo! groups email list at any time by emailing lppta-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com . Please note: as a member of the LPPTA, if you provided your email address when you joined, you were automatically subscribed to the master member-only list that sends out event reminders and the newsletter. However, the Yahoo! Groups email loop is different than the LPPTA membership email list in that you are free to send and/or reply to email messages. The LPPTA membership email list will continue providing you with LPPTA information regarding upcoming events and the newsletter regardless of whether or not you sign up for the Yahoo! Group email listserve. However, you are free to opt-out of either list at any time.

Special Event Discounts
Members receive reduced pricing when buying tickets at LPPTA-sponsored events and shows by presenting their membership cards.
ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
The LPPTA offers a variety of social/recreational, educational and charitable programs for children and their families. All activities are staffed by volunteers from our membership. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. In addition to programs for children ages 0 to 5 years old, the LPPTA also organizes events for adults such as monthly Mom's Night Out and Book Clubs.
