A moment of science please...

Science fairs are a great opportunity for students to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research and to showcase their scientific thinking! At Los Perales, students in 2nd through 5th grades are invited to participate in the science fair either individually or in groups of two or three.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOUR STUDENT'S PROJECT AT THIS YEAR'S SCIENCE FAIR ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 6-8pm!

Please read through the Science Fair information packet and watch this video for more information. You can select from the list of project ideas found in the information packet or research your own online. Hopefully the students' curiosity will lead to some interesting experiments!

Applications are due by Wednesday, March 15. Please submit only one application per project. You may submit an online application or if you prefer a printed application, see the packet link above or pick up a copy in the front office. (Completed paper applications must be submitted to the office by 4pm on Wednesday, March 15.) Applications will be reviewed and returned to applicants by Friday, March 24. Once students receive their approved application, let the experiments begin!
