Oct. 4 Fun Run	Help run the Fun Run on Wednesday, October 4!
Oct. 8 LP Service Day	Families are invited to help beautify the LP campus on 10/8 from 11-1pm. Sign up for Entry #11 and bring gloves and yard tools.
Oct 19 - 3rd Grade Lunch	Third grade parents are hosting the October 19 teacher's lunch. Please sign up to bring in something for the special day!
Oct. 20 Family Dance	Help set up, run or tear down LP's Family Dance on Oct. 20!
Nov. 15 PTA Meeting	Six people needed to reach quorum at Nov. 15 PTA meeting. Please sign up to attend in person or on Zoom!
Lunch Volunteer SUG	Volunteer lunch shifts are full for the fall term, but open up once in a while.

OPEN BOARD and COMMITTEE POSITIONS

Create a genuine impact by taking the lead in a PTA committee or by joining the PTA Board. We currently have openings in the roles listed below. Get in touch with the PTA President to learn more.

PTA Board - Historian	Help organize volunteer celebration at end of school year; attend monthly PTA meetings.
PTA Board - Legislative Rep	Educate families about the California PTA’s legislative priorities and goals; attend monthly PTA meetings.
Capital Contribution Coordinator	Collaborate with LP's principal and oversee the allocation of the PTA's annual school donation to various capital improvement projects.
Lunch Volunteer Coordinator	Coordinate volunteer sign-ups for school lunch distribution.
Multicultural Night	Oversee the gathering of multiple cultures as we all celebrate our diverse backgrounds with delicious food, activities and performances. (January or early Spring)
Junior Achievement	Facilitate parent volunteer sign-ups to educate students about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness skills.
Variety Show	Orchestrate an entertaining showcase featuring a diverse range of performances, talents and acts from students in all grades. (February/March)
Spring Carnival	Manage a team of volunteers to orchestrate a festive event filled with inflatables, midway games and concessions. (May)
